One of our most popular cushioning levels is the 5.0 Extra Heavy Full Cushion which is available for trekking and mountaineering. Extra heavy full cushion means that we use a dense triple terry-loop knit and place it all around the foot as well as at the heel and around the toes. We do have full cushioning on top of the foot so as to enhance warmth and improve comfort. This a merino-rich sock ideal for very cold climates.
